Okay. Got some spam plugins installed for wordpress.
I must admit, the wp-plugins plugin is like way cool.
Hopefully, I’ll be able to not have to approve all comments. But, them damned spammers that think we need to know about their losing gambling sites make it near impossible to just let anyone post.
I’ve had over 50 spammers [...]

Hosting can be hazardous to your health!
The hardest thing about becoming a host . . .
With all the seriousness I can muster . . .
Has been the weight.
I doubled my physical weight within a year of becoming a host.
When I was fifteen, I weighed 125 lbs.
When I was forty-nine, I weighed 125 lbs.
When [...]

Pens that don’t write.
Doors that creak.
Loose handles.
Other people’s kids.
Adolescents that think they’re adults.
Parents that have taught those adolescents they are adults.
Dogs that get their dog hair on me.
Cats.
Rap.
Socks that fall down.
People that don’t bathe.
Cars that don’t start. (I’ve given some away for less)
The price of cigarettes in the States. (I smoke! Sue me!)
Waitresses (and waiters) [...]

I love Alert Bookmarks
It is a must have tool for me.
I have ~2,000 bookmarks stored. Without this tool, I’d never have a bookmark. They were always too hard to configure and manage. Nothing like the one click storing feature Alert offers.
It does it in such a manner that, it’s easy to grab the bookmark you [...]

Okay. Been a couple days since blogging. Truth of the matter is, I haven’t been well lately.
I’ve always found it easier to not talk about my health. It’s been a struggle for 53 years. And I don’t envision it becoming easier any time soon.
I have a degnerative bone disease. It has been the catalyst of [...]

This has been a family favorite ever since the day I threw some noodles, sauce, meat, and cheese in a baking dish because I (Well I don’t remember exactly why. But, it sure seems like it had something to do with finding an easier way).
This is so easy. And so good.
Spaghetti Casserole
Ingredients:

I don’t know how it happened, but I got hooked on Grand Theft Auto / Vice City around about a month before Grant Theft Auto / San Andreas came out.
Well, I grabbed San Andreas as soon as it was released. So, spent the next four days finishing up Vice City. Then messed even more [...]

Going to be introducing ZiTT to WHT soon. Hopefully by the end of the week.
What’s a ZiTT, you ask? Well, that would be “Zero Instigation Tenet Time.”
In short; if someone posts something that may be construed as insulting another member, country, ideology, etc. that member’s post will be removed and he’ll have earned himself a [...]

I was the kid ya hated in school.
The one that sat in the front of the class. Knows all the answers.
When the teacher asks a question; raises his hand to answer.
The one that always had his homework done. And always first finishing tests.
I was the kid in drama, debate, chorus, track, band, student council, and [...]

I spread my wings,
and I learnt how to fly
so long ago
I’ve forgotten why
Where’s there to fly to?
What’s there to know?
Seems I had plans then
Seems I had dreams
But then them plans change
And dreams just stay dreams
Where do the dreams go?
I need to know
I need to know how
some journeys end
Some roads lead nowhere
Some roads just end
Where does [...]

I often get asked, “You are so sexy in type. Can I have a sexified picture of you?”
Well, this is your lucky lucky day day.

Here’s my favorite recipe for buleberry muffins.
Pre-heat oven to 400F
Line muffin tin with five paper cups.
In medium bowl, combine one (1) package Betty Crocker Blueberry Muffin Mix (6.5oz) and one-half cup water until mix is moist.
Bake 16-20 minutes. Or until top springs back when touched.
Cool (ever so slightly).
Genius; eh?

The SSS (SoftWareRevue Sleeping System)
When I began the journey into supplying internet commodities, I knew I’d need to be always accessible. The only way to be always accessible, is to never sleep.
Since, not sleeping wasn’t an option, I came up with next best thing. I only nap.
Wake for three or four hours. Sleep for one.
The [...]

I remember the time I walked into my favorite record store and was made aware of a disturbing development; there are no records here. Isn’t this a record store? Am I in the right place? Did I fall asleep and miss something? Where are the record albums? Then the reality struck; albums no longer exist [...]

Free web hosting is seldom free. However, it can have it’s place.
I see it as a win-win for both sides. If you, as a consumer, can utilize the tools a free web host offers while you learn what this web hosting thing is all about; go for it. If you, as a provider of free [...]

I cannot stress enough the importance on writing well.
If you want your web site to be noticed, make sure it’s full of spelling and grammatical errors.
If you want your web site to be appreciated and remembered, write well.
The first rule of developing good site content is the same as the first rule of writing. “Write. [...]

Many know me as SoftWareRevue on WebHostingTalk.com. Some know me as Dennis Johnson.
I spend a lot of time on WebHostingTalk. I have learned so much there. And have made many on-line acquaintances.
When I first landed there, I knew very little about all this www stuff. Not that I know a lot now. But, what I [...]

I shillyshally.
That’s a silly word.
I am a practicing procrastinator.
I justify that by enjoying working under pressure. I can work pretty fast. And I enjoy working fast, multi-tasking, and rising up from unfortunate circumstance. So, I find that procrastinating plays into that well.
But then, there’s the evil side of procrastination.
You wait and wait and [...]
