as in stargate.com
They cost me another domain name.
I believe that they made the following post in a blatant attempt to misinform the members of WebHostingTalk. http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&postid=2878029post2878029
From speaking with their support representative, it is clear that, if they did initiate a 40 day renewal after expiration of a name, it could not have been for more […]

I linked Rosie’s blog (r blog) today.
I’ve been a reader for a while. And, now that she’s upgraded to using WP . . .
I am just impressed that someone like that takes the time to blog. She rarely misses a day. And seems open and honest in her writings.
I ain’t really a […]

to Voicelance?
Jim used to hang out at WHT for a bit and even did a promo for me.
The site is different today (especially since it re-directs to something similar). But, it seemed to be quite popular when he first started posting on WHT.
Maybe there aren’t enough hosts that take advantage of local radio advertising?

For me, the strongest piece of the book, Twenty Minutes a Day to a More Powerful Intelligence by Arbie M. Dale, was the self-evaluation section of “the witness.”
Although I used the technique more when I first learned it, I try to remember to use it on occasion still.
It involves simply watching yourself.
Imagine yourself being […]

that the amount of money WebHostingTalk.com spends on . . . err . . . web hosting, they’d be about as stable as stable can get.
The site has been messed for a few months now.
What’s worse is, when it has a serious problem, it can be impossible to contact someone to fix it.
If they were […]

Which one’s Pink?
Took a bit of the day, but I finally got Pink Lynk plugged in.
Now we get a random quote from a Pink Floyd song in a box in the right panel.
I love Pink Floyd. And this is just a small tribute to some great writing.
I might expand on it later. But, it’ll do […]

The playoffs are under way.
This time of year is the best bassetball evah!
Of course, I follow the Detroit Pistons. And I gotta admit, I was a little nervous when they got down 16 points in the first quarter.
That first quarter seemed to wake them up a bit though, Cuz it was all Pistons all the […]

and WHT isn’t, I may as well write.
As soon as I have a couple more cups of coffee.
I love my big bunns.
I have two.
Why anyone needs two Bunns is beyond me.
But, I have them . . .
I suppose . . .
In case I need 20 cups of coffee at a time?
Half of my […]

I been working on selling some domains off lately.
I have far too many. And it’s hard to focus on a project, if you have too many projects.
[edit]
I started writing this five hours ago.
Then I got involved with an evil brute force against apache on a friend’s server.
Damned kids.
Damn the pricks that supply the damned kids […]

I’m about to reformat my workstation.
I’ve been high jacked by something evil. And just can’t find it.
I’ve used adaware, spybot, and microsoft antispyware.
None of them find anything.
Yet I have pop up (likely pop unders served from somewhere) ads that are annoying the hell outa me.
I’m about at the point where the only solution I see […]

I think I might kick this around a bit. I was getting a little bored with the looks around the place and thought a change was in order.
I hate change.
Change is bad.
Changing your socks is good though.
hmmm . . . So change is good?
No. I’ll go back to change is bad.
I hate change.
I don’t rotate […]

Just letting your family know you’re going to make some fried ice cream for them to enjoy, raises some interesting confused faces at first. Then, once they’ve had it, they’ll be begging for more.
So, here we go with the frying of the ice cream.
Fried Ice Cream
3 cups vanilla (or whatever trips your trigger at the […]

If I explained the secret to eternal youth, would the populace remain eternally youthful?
The secret of eternal youth can be explained simply.
It’s no secret, really.
Maybe slightly esoteric.
Maybe just a myth.
But, I know the secret to eternal youth.
The secret to eternal youth is . . .

I think I have it worked out that I can take Tuesdays off from WebHostingTalk.
I’ll find out when I get back there.
I been workin’ for a couple months to have a day that I can devote to my business interests. And I think we have it sorted down to Tuesdays.
So, now Tuesdays are […]

I quit smoking today.
Longest six hours of my life!
Thing about smoking is; I like it.
It’s just something I enjoy.
I am starting to have a problem with the expense involved though. Cigarettes cost so much around here, it is really giving me cause for concern. I mean heck, if I have a $10 a day habit, […]

or I’m too short.
Was such a nice day out, I decided I needed to outside (even though I have a hard time with that concept). :p
The bad thing about it is, I decided to tune up my big ole Ford truck. She’s a sweetie that’s served me well; and quite deserving of keeping maintained.
But, I […]

I didn’t meet Shelly until mid-August 1980. But, she has been my constant companion ever since.
I was putting in a driveway at a house near Gloucester Virginia. While getting a drink (Yes. Out of the hose!), I saw her standing in the breezeway.
She was leaning against the back wall; covered in dust and dribbled with […]
