Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook window.
After scouring the web to find a solution for my Windows 7 OS Microsoft Office 2007 Outlook not opening, I thought I’d better post the fix here in case I need it again.
Error Message: Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook window.
Resolution: Click Start –> Click Run ..then type the following -> “Outlook.exe /resetnavpane” (without the quotes) –> Click OK –> Enjoy Outlook opening. 
**NOTE** If you click Start and don’t see the Run… link, Right click on the Start button –> choose Properties –> Under the Start Menu tab, click Customize… –> Tick the box next to Run Command –> Click OK –> Click Apply, then follow the fix above.
